Why one of Italy’s celebrated pianists is spending a month in Oregon

One of Italy’s celebrated pianists is spending the month of March touring Oregon! Portland Piano International works to connect the Rose City with some of the world’s most talented musicians. The local non-profit welcomes musicians from across the globe to local venues, and later this month, you can witness a special recital from renowned pianist Filippo Gorini.

He joined AM Extra to talk about his Sonata for 7 Cities project, and his upcoming performance at PSU’s Lincoln Hall, Sunday, March 22nd at 4:00 p.m.
