Work From the Italian Alps — and Help Advance Science

Imagine swapping your home office for a mountain refuge in the Italian Alps. That's exactly what participants in Eurac Research's Moderate Altitude (MAHE) Study get to do. For four weeks, volunteers live at an altitude of 2,300 meters, where scientists investigate how the human body adapts to prolonged exposure to moderate altitude.

Outside scheduled medical assessments, participants are free to work remotely, study or simply enjoy the breathtaking alpine surroundings.
