Chef Rudy Duran (born Rutilio Fanetti-Duran) is an acclaimed Tuscan-born executive chef and the co-owner of C'era Una Volta Kitchen & Catering in Alameda, California. After training extensively in Italy, he relocated to the United States in 2000. He specializes in authentic Tuscan recipes, blending premium imported Italian staples with fresh, local ingredients. His culinary authenticity is officially recognized by the Accademia Italiana della Cucina. He is also a representative for APCI North America (Association of Italian Professional Chefs).
