Italian historical trademarks: Gabetti

Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange since 1990, Gabetti Property Solutions is one of the founders of the Associazione Marchi Storici, a reality established in 2021 to protect and enhance the value of historic Italian brands and promote Made in Italy in the world.

With its long history and a constantly forward-looking vision, the Gabetti Group, enrolled in 2020 in the Special Register of Historic Brands of National Interest, has always led the Italian real estate market with undisputed professionalism, offering innovative and value-added services.

Gabetti was founded in 1950, with the opening of the first real estate agency in Turin, the far-sighted intuition of Giovanni Gabetti, defined by many as the forerunner of the modern concept of real estate agency and marketing strategies applied to Real Estate.

Since then, growth has been continuous: between the 1950s and the 2000s, business diversification is achieved, with the introduction of real estate financing activities and interventions in the industrial sector for the tertiary sector, up to the creation of the Santandrea division for the luxury market. This was followed by the opening of the Study Office, a pioneering research tool for the time, the founding of Patrigest for asset management, and the creation of the franchise network, which, after several years, was followed by the acquisition of Abaco Team, a real estate services company. The Group has thus become a unique holding company, able to offer, compared to its competitors, a complete service to the real estate industry.

More than seventy years after its founding, Gabetti continues to be a point of reference for the Italian real estate market. In the words of Fabrizio Prete, Group Chairman, “Professionalism, adaptability, spirit of initiative and a 360-degree vision are the characteristics that have enabled the Group to overcome difficulties and challenges. The aptitude for change and the continuous search for innovation have been key to maintaining leadership in the industry.”

Also reiterating the importance of Gabetti's heritage is Roberto Busso, Group CEO and Deputy Vice President of the association: “The constant attention to the evolution of the figure of the real estate agent into a consultant is one of the most valuable legacies, and today the value-added services we offer, both to corporate clients and to our networks, are a clear example of this.”

In 2020 to celebrate its 70th anniversary, the Gabetti Group launched the “Rendiamo Stabile l'Italia” campaign, which recalls two elements in the Group's DNA: Italian-ness and real estate. “The intent was to proudly reiterate the merit of having participated in making Italy 'stable' by contributing to the well-being of Italians by taking care of the properties in which they live or work, and to thank all those who are or have been at Gabetti,” says Marco Speretta, General Manager of the Group.

Gabetti's organizational model today is based on the integration and coordination of the specific skills of each Group company in the areas of Consulting, Valuation, Management, Brokerage, Credit and Insurance Mediation, and Redevelopment. From the North to the South of Italy, the Group is the only player to preside over the entire national territory thanks to 11 corporate offices in all the major capitals and their provinces, in addition to the main offices in Milan and Rome, more than 700 franchised real estate agencies, more than 200 credit brokers and about 500 condominium and business administration firms.
