Columbus Citizens Foundation offers opportunities for students to engage with all things Italian through study abroad, internships, or other programs in Italy. The applications for the study abroad scholarships are now open. The deadline is April 15, 2024. Apply Today here for The Guarini Scholarship or CCF Opportunities Fund.
The Honorable Frank Guarini, Chair Emeritus of John Cabot University, and a CCF founding member, established a perpetual fund to enable Italian American students to attend John Cabot University in Rome. The application is open to US citizens or residents who are planning to attend John Cabot University for one semester or two consecutive semesters, have a minimum of 25% Italian heritage, and demonstrate a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
The CCF Opportunities Fund supports students pursuing programs in Italy such as immersive study of Italian language, literature, art, history, music, archaeology, architecture, and other disciplines reflective of the richness of Italian culture and its significance today. Students must confirm enrollment or explain the status of their application to participate in a study abroad program in Italy, and provide a detailed budget of the program. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA or higher to be eligible.
