Summer is over in New York City (although the temperatures suggest otherwise) and Eataly NYC's Flatiron location has once again turned its rooftop beer garden into an Italian Alps-themed restaurant for the winter.
The 2.0 version of Baita (pronounced bye-tah), a Piemontese word for small ski lodge in the Italian Alps, opens to the public tonight at 5 p.m. Changes include an emphasis on polenta, which will be served traditionally and family style on a wooden board, and menu items designed for larger groups such as beef shanks with fixings for tables of 10 or more.
