A new all-day Italian eatery is headed to the Woodlands thanks to a third generation Sicilian-American who’s reviving his ancestor’s recipes from the old country. Radunare Italian-American Table will open mid-July at 2520 Research Forest Drive, Suite 500. It draws its name (pronounced “rah-due-nar-a”) from the Italian word that means “to gather or rally.” Diners will find decorative motifs of exposed brick, wooden beams, and stone that pay homage to the old country, while the wallpaper features the proprietor’s historic family photos. The eatery will seat 120 guests inside and another 40 on the shaded patio.

Dr. Frank Morello, a physician in Cypress, is the owner-founder of Radunare. According to a press release, his family immigrated to the U.S. from Sicily 1898 with “an abundance of recipes” in tow. To that end, diners will find breakfast, lunch, and dinner favorites from his family arsenal like egg panini or prosciutto crostini with fig jam, basil, and stracciatella to start the day.
