One hundred students from various universities in the United States have arrived at Link Campus University in Rome to attend an innovative program, never before seen in Italy, that will allow them to divide their day between hours dedicated to study and those reserved for sports. The initiative, created by the university in collaboration with College Life Italia, was presented last week.

The program is dedicated both to 'undergraduate' students, who have the opportunity to follow the three-year degree course in English with a focus on economics-financial management, and to those who have already graduated, to whom a 'post-graduate program' is reserved for obtaining a master's degree in Sports management and coaching. All students train in the morning in different facilities, depending on the sport of reference, with the support of professional coaches, and then continue the rest of the day with university classes.

The master's program will run until mid-May 2022, while for the undergraduate programs, the timing of the academic calendar of Link Campus University, which hosts all courses in its facilities in Via del Casale di San Pio V in Rome, will be observed.

"We are proud - said the president of College Life Italia, Stefano Radio - to be able to represent the main bridge between Italy and the United States in the world of sports and education. Thanks to the partnership with Link Campus University, we put another piece in the cultural revolution that we undertook a few years ago through the creation of academic and sports programs of the highest level. Thanks to our know-how, we have recreated the model of US colleges in Italy, where sport and study are not only compatible but form a perfect pair.

"Link Campus - explained Pescante - is one of the Italian universities that pay more attention to sports thanks to degree and master's courses aimed at qualifying managers in the area of sports law and management to train professionals with specific skills in a complex sector that requires dedicated models and professionalism. It is no coincidence that many champions graduate here". Among them Simona Quadarella, Margherita Panziera and Silvia Salis herself.

"The United States and Italy - concluded Carlo Alberto Giusti, Rector of Link Campus University - are united by a series of fundamental values, the first of which is democracy, but also welcome and hospitality. What the students will live is a unique experience, which we hope many other students will be able to live in the coming years".
