Known for its Greek temples, Mediterranean beaches, a renowned culinary and enological legacy, and one of the world’s most active volcanoes, Sicily is an island that has it all. Thanks to its location at the center of numerous trade routes, its volcanic soil and warm climate, the island has lured travelers and conquerors over millennia, and each left an indelible mark onto its rich cultural tapestry.
Sicily is also the largest wine producing regions in Italy – one that is poised to expand as wine enthusiasts look for new territories and unexpected flavors. A true microcosm of Italy, Sicily can be described as a “viticultural continent”.
