IABF Awards Record Funding Levels for Scholarship Program

Jun 27, 2024 123

The Italian American Baseball Foundation has increased its college scholarship offering for the fourth consecutive year. One of IABF’s primary goals is to award scholarships to deserving student-athletes who express pride in Italian culture and heritage.

The scholarships are open to Americans and international students from Italy committed to playing baseball or softball in college and maintaining high academic standing. IABF scholarship requirements include maintaining a 3.0 GPA, showing financial need, securing placement on a college baseball or softball team roster, and having 25% Italian heritage.

All awardees must follow the application process, including writing a personal statement and interviewing with the scholarship committee, which selects the winners each year.
