On Saturday, September 23, 2017 President Franco Pavoncello welcomed 160 guests, including Trustees, parents, alumni, and students to the Hotel Hassler to celebrate JCU’s 45th Anniversary at the President’s Gala, “Building for the Future.”
The Gala was an opportunity for the JCU community to celebrate recent achievements and developments, especially the acquisition of the first University-owned property, a building in Piazza Belli. During the evening, President Pavoncello announced the name of the new building, the Caroline Critelli Guarini Campus, in memory of the mother of Hon. Frank J. Guarini, beloved Chair of the JCU Board of Trustees. “I am so grateful to John Cabot University for honoring my mother and all that she achieved throughout her lifetime,” said the Hon. Guarini.
