Stefano Marchese interviews Petra Conti, first ballerina at the Boston Ballet, with screening of video clips. Petra Conti graduated from the National Academy of Dance in Rome in 2006. In 2007 she joined the Mariinsky Ballet in St. Petersburg where she danced for one year before joining the Bavarian State Ballet Company in 2008.
In 2009 Conti joined La Scala Ballet Company, where she was promoted to Principal Dancer. She represented the Company on tour in Italy, Brazil, Russia, Oman and Poland. She performed with La Scala until November 2013, when she was invited to join Boston Ballet as a Principal Dancer.
