The Azzurri landed in Miami on Tuesday afternoon, around 18:00 local time. The trip was made within comfortable surroundings of the Business and Premium classes, while watching films, having long chats, taking photos with other passengers on board and the obvious quality of traditional Italian meals.
After a slight delay for the scheduled arrival time, putting the start of training back at the Chase Stadium by around half an hour. At 19:00 local time, head coach Luciano Spalletti led the side's first session in the States, with a small-sided training game preceded by some light athletic work. There was also a surprise visit from another outstanding athlete who proudly flies the Italian flag around the world: Jannik Sinner.
