In commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, ordained by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2005 to remember the victims of the Shoah, renowned Italian guitarist Carlo Fierens will perform music of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (1895-1968), who was forced to flee Italy because of fascism.
He will be joined by Cantor Jonathan Angress and Pianist Daniel Kurek. In addition, survivor and Beth El congregant Arnie Wininger will recount how he survived the Holocaust in hiding in Italy.
