In honor of the upcoming 100th birthday of legendary film director Federico Fellini, the Los Angeles Public Library’s Photo Collection and International Languages Department, under the auspices of the of the Comune di Rimini, will be presenting a series of never-before-seen portraits taken by Milan-based photographer Ivan Cerullo, of the actors who’ve appeared in Fellini’s films. Mr. Cerullo will explain each image projected on the screen in Italian with English translation.

Ivan Cerullo, creator of special photographic projects with the legends of cinema and music, spent over three years locating and photographing thirty-five of Fellini’s cast members, including Sandra Milo (“8½”), Franca Valeri (“Variety Lights”), and Davide Marotta (“Ginger and Fred”). “In each photograph we try to tell the truth of the face, enhancing every single trait and feature without using photo editing programs in any way”.
