The city of San Diego has created a network of dedicated bike lanes and routes that connect Little Italy, the Gaslamp Quarter and Balboa Park, Mayor Kevin Faulconer and City Council President Todd Gloria announced Tuesday.
"The San Diego Bike Loop is a big step forward in our push to create a more bike-friendly city," Faulconer told reporters. "These are the type of low-cost projects that have a huge impact on our neighborhoods, and we're going to be doing a lot more of them in the future."
