Get ready for five days of fun dedicated to celebrating Italian heritage and culture.
The 39th annual Italian Festival will take place from 5 to 11 p.m. Aug. 5 to 9 at Joe Palaia Park, 200 Whalepond Road in Oakhurst.
There will be Italian cuisine, like sausage, peppers and zeppolis, as well as entertainment throughout the festival, including A&S Sound, Mario Delano Jr., Taylor Tote, Doo Wop Pop Disco, and Eric DeLauro. Enjoy rides, games, raffles, food eating contests and fireworks, which will be displayed at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 7. On Aug. 5, there will be discounted rides.
