Frank Sinatra had many sobriquets — Ol' Blue Eyes, the Chairman of the Board, Swoonatra — but to Amanda Erlinger, he remains simply "Grandpa." "I'm blessed to be part of this family for many reasons," says Erlinger, the youngest daughter of Frank's daughter Nancy ("These Boots Were Made for Walkin'") Sinatra and Hugh Lambert.
She was on hand for the first night of the "Ring-a-Ding-Ding" Frank Sinatra film festival last weekend at the Vogue Theatre. "I'm so proud of what my grandpa accomplished coming from humble beginnings as a first-generation Italian American, and I'm proud of what my mom has done, too. Everyone has a story about meeting Grandpa or my mom or my uncle," she says. "There's always this connection."
