Alessandro Marianantoni, Director of Mediars and M Accelerator, will illustrate Dante's influence in cinema and television through some intriguing collages of images, videos and music, in conversation with Massimo Ciavolella, Distinguished Professor of Italian Studies, UCLA Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies and former director of the UCLA Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
The initiative is part of original Dante on Film series, dedicated to the figure and work of the Supreme Poet in cinema and organized in coordination with the Italian Embassy in Washington DC and under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles.
