11th Annual Morris County Columbus Day Parade with Michéal Castaldo as Grand Marshal commences at 2pm October 11

The 11th Annual Morris County Columbus Day Parade, which will be held in East Hanover, New Jersey, on Sunday, October 11, starting at 2pm, features Michéal Castaldo as the Grand Marshal. In addition, Castaldo will be sharing his beautiful voice with the congregation at the 10:30 a.m. mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 312 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, New Jersey, prior to the parade.


The parade will include 14 marching bands, including the Hanover Park and Whippany Park Bands, as well as many social and civic organizations, clowns, antique cars, and police and fire departments from all around Morris County.


Lisa Marie Latino of Long Shot Productions will serve as the Parade Master of Ceremonies. Assisting her at Town Square Park will be Christina Agnellino and Maria Falzo. Before the parade begins, a carnival at East Hanover's Lurker Park will feature food and rides for all to enjoy, beginning at noon. After the parade, musical entertainment will take place in Lurker Park, featuring award-winning singer/songwriter Michéal Castaldo, followed by the group, Jersey Sound, who will perform golden oldies.


Castaldo is being honored as the EHIAC Music Achievement Award Recipient for his outstanding performances, arranging and composing talents, and for keeping the Italian language alive and in the forefront of entertainment and the arts. The award will be presented at the EHIAC Annual Columbus Day Dinner Dance on Friday, October 9, at the Hanover Manor, 16 Eagle Rock Avenue, East Hanover, New Jersey.
