Honorees have been named for the 2015 West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival. Italian-America Man of the Year: Major General James A. Hoyer. Hoyer is adjutant general of the West Virginia National Guard, West Virginia Joint Force headquarters in Charleston.
Italian-American Woman of the Year: Dr. Joy Faini Saab. Saab is director of the Office of Diversity and Global Initiatives in the College of Education and Human Services at West Virginia University in Morgantown. Honorary Italian Man of the Year: Robert Greer. Greer is mayor of the city of Bridgeport and an attorney.
