The Morris County Columbus Day Parade will kick off on Sunday October 7 at 2pm on Ridgedale Avenue in East Hanover. "This is an outstanding group of honorees who serve as great role models for young people and demonstrate how hard work and family values are the backbone of what Italian Americans are all about,” said parade spokesman William Agnellino. "The parade will be dedicated to the first Italian immigrants and all of the following generations".
The Grand Marshal for the parade is Mayor Joseph Pannullo. This year's Master of Ceremonies will be Lisa Marie Latino and assisting her will be Christina Agnellino. The parade will feature 11 marching bands, 10 police officers from Arezzo Italy as well as Freeholders Doug Cabana and Heather Darling, Assemblyman Anthony Bucco and Jay Weber and Sheriff James Gannon among others.
