Members of Corona d'Italia Lodge 807 is ready to accept applications for its annual scholarship. Group members discussed the application forms at its meeting Jan. 11 at Pizza Joe's. The lodge annually issues two $500 scholarships to a child or grandchild of active members of Corona d'Italia or Sons of Italy 608. Applications will be available at the high school guidance offices. The scholarship committee consists of orator Valerie Valentino, sentinel Lois DiFrischia and trustee Marlene LaCava.
DiFrischia and Mary Jane Folino served the pizza luncheon during the meeting. Treasurer Louise Vitullo presented financial reports and announced the collection of 2017 dues. She said any changes to member information, such as addresses and phone numbers could be given to her or President Clemmy Sirimarco.
