2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of one of the greatest in international art cinema, a master of memory, dreams, fantasy and desire: Federico Fellini. Our year-long celebration of his genius starts with this musical tribute by one of the greatest pianist of the Italian jazz scene: Enrico Pieranunzi.
For this debut in Washington DC of Fellini Jazz - before moving to New York - Maestro Pieranunzi will be joined on stage by Luca Bulgarelli (doublebass) and Mauro Beggio (drums). Come join us for an evening with a jazz twist revisiting the most memorable soundtracks of Fellini’s greatest movies, from I Vitelloni to La Strada, and Amarcord to La Dolce Vita.
