Dear ICS Friends, wWe are pleased to invite you to Festa di Carnevale 2019, organized in collaboration with Le D.I.V.E. and Italians in DC. The band i-Talians will perform a fun concert, while the kids will be entertained with arts and crafts. Our little students will join the band for a special Italian song and a presentation in Italian on traditional Carnevale stock characters. Older kids are welcome to volunteer and earn SSL hours.

Prizes will be awarded for the best Costume and the best Dolce tipico di Carnevale. We welcome your creativity! Guests are kindly encouraged to bring a traditional Carnevale sweet for the contest or a dessert of your choice. Costumes are optional and a few masks will be available for purchase. We will provide merenda e aperitivo (spritz, prosecco, wine and soft drinks, light appetizers). The i-Talians will lead a special karaoke!
