La Festa Italiana is coming back to Jersey City this month.
The five-day festival, which runs from Aug. 13 through 17, began at Holy Rosary Church in 1902 to honor Our Lady of the Assumption and St. Rocco. Now, it's become a yearly summer staple in Downtown Jersey City.
This year, festivalgoers can enjoy live music, stand-up comedy, games, kids' activities and of course, delicious Italian eats like zeppole, torrone and arancini rice balls.
