Fredericksburg will confirm its sister-city relationship with Este, Italy, with a signing ceremony on Wednesday. It will be held at 11 a.m., in the City Council Chambers in City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.
The proclamation signing is free and open to the public. It completes the confirmation of the relationship, which began with a similar ceremony held in Este in September. Fredericksburg Mayor Mary Katherine Greenlaw attended, along with Este's mayor, Giancarlo Piva.
