Eleanora Pezza 's daughter, Franca still tends the garden for her mom who is turning 100 years-old on July 23. She plants flowers on the front lawn and has potted plants of herbs on the porch. Her mom was known for her garden of fruit and vegetables.
The Italian born Pezza used to make everything from wine to tomato gravy from the fruits of her labor. But after major surgeries and having one kidney removed, Pezza had to give up her passion. "I try to make her happy. She loves the flowers," said Franca.
