The Plainfield Chapter of UNICO held their annual Pig Roast this past weekend, as more than two hundred attendees enjoyed good food, fun spirits and Italian heritage. The event held at the Italian American Club in Scotch Plains kicks off the annual Christmas season in Italian style.
This annual event helps to raise funds for high school senior scholarships, for South Plainfield and surrounding towns that are part of the Plainfield Chapter of UNICO. The planning of this event takes a tremendous amount of time between picking up and cooking the pigs as well as all the other food, selling tickets and bringing it all together.
