Celebrate Carnevale at KID Museum! Activities include Venetian mask-making, and a special presentation and workshop hosted by The Italian Cultural Society of Washington, DC, in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura.
Schedule:
10:00 – 5:00: Il Carnevale at KID all day
11:00 – 4:00: Drop-in to create a vacuum-molded Venetian Mask. $10 materials fee.
2:30: Presentation of "Il Carnevale Italiano" by The Italian Cultural Society & Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Washington DC, Origins, Traditional costumes (Stock Characters) and typical sweets.
3:30 – 4:30: Creative workshop by The Italian Cultural Society & Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Washington DC.
