Are you an Italian American who is sick and tired of the negative portrayal and denigration of our heritage? If so, we need you to attend the Italian American ONE VOICE Coalition general meeting on Sunday, April 21, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Chancellor's Suite in Seton Hall University, South Orange. The event is free and all are welcome to attend.
ONE VOICE President Andre' DiMino and Chairman and founding member Dr. Manny Alfano will present an overview of ONE VOICE's triumphs over bias and its never-ending challenges. Other prominent speakers will soon be announced.
The Italian American ONE VOICE Coalition is the nation's only Italian American organization whose sole mandate is to fight stereotypes and bias against Italian Americans. ONE VOICE is recruiting proud members who are ready, willing and able to phone, email, fax and write letters to work against instances of bias and discrimination.
ONE VOICE has created the first-ever nationwide "rapid response" network of defenders and freedom writers who are activated quickly to respond to bias and stereotyping through emails, letters, phone calls, through its Facebook page, Twitter account, posts and website.
In order to ensure adequate seating for attendees, RSVP Dr. Alfano at [email protected]. Light Refreshments including Coffee, Tea, water, bagels and buns will be available.
