Italians in New Jersey Pleased with Amendola and Genuardi

Immediately following Friday's encounter with Minister of Foreign Affairs Paolo Gentiloni at the Consulate General on Park Avenue, Consul General Francesco Genuardi and Under Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Vincenzo Amendola crossed the Hudson River to inaugurate the mobile fingerprinting station in the Clifton, New Jersey offices of Honorary Consul General Dominic Caruso.


Eagerly awaiting this contingent from New York were numerous Italian Americans who recognize the importance of this mobile fingerprinting station in New Jersey, ready to renew their Italian passports. In March 2014, as a result of economic constraints, the Newark Consulate was closed and numerous difficulties arose since that closure, thus interested parties and various organizations in New Jersey – represented at the event by the Italian Association Ieri, Oggi, Domani (Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow), founded by Cav.
