The Livingston chapter of UNICO National announced the election of Maria Bucco Brush as its first female president in the service organization’s 65-year history. As only one chapter of the nation’s largest Italian-American service organization, Livingston UNICO exemplifies the nationwide UNICO motto of “Service Above Self” by providing charitable funds to multiple community organizations.
Brush became a member of the Livingston UNICO board of directors shortly after joining the organization in 2014. In addition to serving in various officers’ positions prior to becoming president, Brush also currently serves as district secretary for UNICO National’s XI, which includes nine local UNICO chapters.
