In celebration of Columbus Day, Livingston UNICO will host its annual Italian flag raising ceremony on Monday, Oct. 14, at Livingston Town Hall at 6:30 p.m. with refreshments to follow. This annual tradition honors the rich Italian heritage and contributions of the Italian-American community.
The ceremony will feature the raising of the Italian flag, comments from community members and the singing of both the Italian and American national anthems to commemorate the occasion. Following the flag raising, attendees are invited to join UNICO members for refreshments, including gelato donated by Turano’s.
