Thomas Baio of North Gate Road in Mendham NJ was honored by Patriot Path Council of the Boy Scouts of America on September 12, 2019 as a 2019 Distinguished Citizen of the year. The event was hosted at Canoe Brook Country Club. Thomas Baio is a husband, father of 3 children, and practicing Architect. He holds Architectural licenses in 5 states and has seen the design and development of nearly 3000 structures.
He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree (NYIT 87') & Certificates in Architecture from the University of Venice, Venice Italy (1985) and Harvard Graduate school of Design, Cambridge Ma. (2001). During his formative years he interned with some of the most influential architects & designers of the 20th century. They include Alberto Sartoris in Lausanne Switzerland, Livio Dimitriu of Budapest Hungry at his NY Studio, Massimo Vignelli of Milan Italy at his NY Offices and Hardy Holzman & Pfeiffer of NY.
