Travelling through Trinton Falls, New Jersey, is typically boring at best but it certainly isn't the case if you're lucky enough to hop onto Mike Rabinowitz's bus. Rabinowitz, a classically trained opera singer and full-time bus driver who serenades senior citizens while he shuttles them to and from Seabrook Retirement Community, happily sings Italian opera, Frank Sinatra and Pavarotti for any passengers who ask.
"We love to get on the bus with him — it's entertainment," longtime Seabrook resident Audrey Grogan told the Asbury Park Press. Rabinowitz takes great pleasure in the unlikely job he's landed. "This has been the most gratifying gig I've ever had. To have so many people who really enjoy my singing, it's amazing. It's wonderful," said the 51-year-old Toms River resident.
