Gov. Chris Christie recently appointed Nutley resident Eileen L. Poiani to the New Jersey Italian and Italian American Heritage Commission.
"I was very honored and humbled to be nominated as a commissioner," Poiani said. As a third generation Nutleyite, Poiani has served various committees, including the Academic Advisory Board, in which she is co-chair.
