Over 70 years, the one statement synonymous with Raritan is “A Friendly Town of Friendly People.” And as the borough has grown with new buildings, more roads and more people, that saying still holds true for many of Raritan’s most well-known residents.
“This is what has really come to describe the town,” said lifelong resident John Pacifico, himself a storied arbiter of Raritan’s history. “Raritan is a special place in a special state in a special country in a special world.”
