The Rehoboth Area Chapter opened its 2024-25 season with a get-together at Nicola Pizza on Sept. 19. A calendar of events and meetings continuing “Service Above Self” and supporting local and national charities was presented with special emphasis given to Italian heritage and culture.
Members benefit from association in a national organization offering scholarships, financial support for educational programs, aid for anyone in need, free Italian language lessons and more. On Oct. 6, a movie matinee featuring “Cabrini” raised funds to support local Delaware charities such as Womenade, Light House for Broken Wings, Shepards Way and others.
