Saint Anthony’s Italian festival is back!

Every June, the Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Wilmington, Delaware, runs a week-long Italian Festival which celebrates the Feast of Saint Anthony. Since the 1920s, Saint Anthony's Italian festival has grown from a small carnival into a five-block celebration around the church. Every year the festival favors a region or city of Italy that will be honored by having live performances of the regional music, as well as foods from that area.

2014 Saint Anthony's Italian festival honors Ascoli Piceno. Ascoli Piceno is a smaller city located in the Marche region of Italy just north of Abruzzi. The city is widely referred to as Italy's "vacation spot".
