When it comes to cultural celebrations, the borough – host of the state's biggest St. Patrick's Day parade every year – is no stranger to honoring Irish heritage.
For the past three years, however, the borough's Main Street has been blocked off for one weekend in September as Belmar and St. Rose Parish celebrate the Italian culture and more specifically, The Feast of San Gennaro.
