President Michele Fabbro and Chairman Tony Filberto have announced that plans are under way for Undo’s Upper Ohio Valley Italian Festival 40th Anniversary celebration! The three day event will be held on July 28 - July 30, 2023 at Wheeling’s Heritage Port.  

This year’s event will see some changes with our new “Little Italy” section featuring booths and a restaurant serving only Italian food and desserts. The feature restaurant will be My Way Cafe from St. Clairsville. Other Italian vendors will include perennial favorite the Sons of Italy (Bellaire, Ohio) famous homemade sausage sandwiches, the Festival’s Italian bakery, Wood-fired Pizza, and Lucci’s Central Grill Meatball booth among others.

The Festival’s Merchandise Booth will also be located in Little Italy and will feature all homemade Italian baked goods. Another special feature of Little Italy will be the return of  the “Your Root in the Boot” booth. Festival goers of Italian descent or anyone wanting to learn more about Italian culture will be able to stop by to check out what each region of Italy is famous for- types of cheese, pasta, wine and famous people from the different regions. Participants will be given a card listing many of these items.

To celebrate this special anniversary we are excited to announce our headline entertainment will be Donnie Iris and the Cruisers. Iris, a second generation Italian-American hails from nearby Elwood City in Southwestern, PA. Famous for his nationally ranked songs: The Rapper, Love is Like a Rock, and many others, The band will perform Saturday night from 9:00 - 11:00.

The mission of the Festival is two fold: 1) To share the customs and traditions of Italians and Italian-Americans through food, music and more, including honoring our Italian-American of the year (This                          year’s honoree is Tom Fato of Straub Honda; 2) To provide scholarships for students in each of the six counties represented on the Festival Foundation
