The UNICO Chapter of Kenilworth recently organized a toiletries and personal hygiene drive for homeless individuals who are using Newark Penn Station as their place to sleep. Laura Morana the Chapter President, partnered with an organization in Newark that expressed a necessity for these items to help those less fortunate.
The collection was held on Saturday, Feb. 27 and Tuesday, March 2. “UNICO of Kenilworth continues to be committed to meeting the needs of individuals in need” Morana said. The generous donations were deeply appreciated. We are encouraged by the community’s response!”
