It was a special night to kickoff one of the largest Italian festivals in the country and honor some of the men and women that also help make it one of the best. WTRF's Nate Fluharty was the proud emcee for the kickoff dinner of the Upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival.
This year's dinner was held inside Wheeling's McClure Hotel. We caught up with this year's Italian American of the Year, who said he was not only extremely honored, but also pretty surprised.
