Else DiGiacopo and Ron Villone, both members of the Pascack Valley High School Class of 2015, were each a recipient of the Brian Piccolo Sportsmanship Award from the Westwood chapter of UNICO. The Westwood chapter of UNICO recently awarded its Brian Piccolo Award to two members of the Pascack Valley High School Class of 2015, Else DiGiacopo and Ron Villone.

They were honored at the UNICO banquet held recently at the Florentine Gardens, River Vale. The award is given to student athletes from area high schools who exhibit outstanding character. Jeff Jasper, the head coach of PV's girls basketball team, spoke on behalf of Else, and Will Lynch, the head coach of PV's boys baseball team, spoke on behalf of Ron.
