Mark your calendars for Wednesday November 1st at twelve noon for the return of the vastly enjoyable Dr. Salvatore Primeggia who will speak on Religion and Superstition in the lives of Italian Americans.
Dr. Primeggia, who received his PhD from the New Schools for Social Research, holds the position of Professor of Sociology at Adelphi University. He has served as contributor and participant in PBS channel 21’s widely acclaimed series: The Italian – American Part I and Heaven Touches Brooklyn. He has also been a co-editor of The Italian-American Experience: An encyclopedia, and Saints in the Lives of Italian-Americans and Models and Images of Catholicism in Italian- American Academy and Society.
