Festa Italiana will be held on Taylor Street at Ashland Avenue Thursday through Sunday, Aug. 13 through 16, 5 to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday.

There will be food, music, games, contests and a procession from the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii to the festa following the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass at the shrine. The festa will include cooking demonstrations, a wine garden, Italian movies, a meatball-eating contest, an Italian car show, and bocce ball.
