Italian American Veterans Post 1, 4567 Oberlin Ave. in Lorain, is bringing the Italian-American community together Sept. 16. The group’s annual Festa Italiana will feature traditional Italian music, food and a bake sale, organizers said.
Bambi Dillon, a member of the Italian American Veterans, said the group is looking forward to one of its largest annual community events, which has been a staple for the Lorain post for nearly two decades. “I don’t know the exact years … probably at least 15 years or so,” Dillon said.
