Please join us as we celebrate the publication of John Vinci: Life and Landmarks, a new illustrated biography from Northwestern University Press by architectural writer Robert Sharoff and architectural photographer William Zbaren. Acclaimed for his pioneering activism for the cause of historic preservation over the last half century, the Italian American architect John Vinci has restored such important Chicago landmarks as Louis Sullivan’s Stock Exchange Trading Room and the Carson Pirie Scott Building, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Home Studio and Robie House and Burnham & Root’s Monadnock Building.
