The Taste in Little Italy Meatball Crawl and Wine Tasting has announced its winners for the 2024 event. Despite the rain on Sunday, more than 1,200 people headed to Cleveland’s Little Italy neighborhood to try out more than a dozen meatballs from local vendors that included restaurants, bars, shops and beyond.
Patrons and guest judges, which included cleveland.com food reporter Alex Darus, got to cast votes for their favorite dishes at the fundraising event. Proceeds benefit the Cleveland Montessori at the Alta House. Murray Hill Market, 2072 Murray Hill Road, won the judges’ choice for the best meatball, with Corbo’s Bakery, 12210 Mayfield Road, and TOLI, 12117 Mayfield Road, tying for second place.
